You can easily post a video in Word Press using the EMBED VIDEO plugin. Here’s how
- Go to ADD NEW POST
- In the editorial toolbar look for the little TV VIDEO ICON. Click on it. (figure 1)
- In the window that opens simply put in the YouTube Video ID (figure 3)
- Click INSERT!
Done! The code is put in for you and all you need to do is publisth the post to see the video.

Figure 2: Go to YouTube.com and find the video you want to use. Click on the SHARE button. And then look for the Video ID. It’s the ID that is part of the URL. For example, if you see the URL as “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXWqigpssmk“ then the video ID will be lXWqigpssmk.

Figure 4: Once you click on Insert in the above Figure 3 example, the code will appear in the post where you put your cursor. All you need to do now is PUBLISH your post and your video will appear in the post.
