Psychostasia

Psychostasia is a hard driving mystical classic rock band based in Lake Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico. Band members and brothers, Dan and David Cordero, originally from the US, started the band on a cobble stoned road in a small Mexican puebla and have been rockin out in the greater Guadalajara area ever since. Now, online, they’re bringing their unique blend of USA classic rock mixed with the modern culture of Mexico into a North American hybrid that will rule the 21st Century.

With a sound that resonates with the energy of rock and punk, the Caribbean “riddims” of reggae, ska, and dancehall as well as the rhythmic appeal of hip-hop funk and soul, “The Skeletones” deliver a fusion of sound that is as diverse as their Southern California roots… yet as easily accessible as a groove.

It is with this distinction that they have commanded stage performances on 3 continents for nearly 20 years.  They have 6 records out and play live shows all over the USA and international.

Formed in 1986 by Paul “Prince Skeletone” Hampton, “The Skeletones” have honed their craft by playing alongside rock icons like No Doubt, Sublime, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Fishbone, Incubus, The Skatalites, Bad Religion, 311, The English Beat and countless others.

Brian Jay Cline was born in Brooklyn New York City in 1969. He escaped in the early 1990′s to Las Vegas and came of age in the new land of opportunity, releasing 7 full length CDs of original material, as well as sharing the stage with national acts such as Chris Isaac, The Smithereens, Rick Springfield, Ten Years After, Chris Whitley, The Derailers, and the multi-platinum selling group The Killers.

Aside from working on his solo gigs, Brian found time to become a key member of the Vegas-based Mark Huff Four. Netting 5 co-writing credits on the MHF album “Skeleton Faith” (Voted Local Album of the Year by Las Vegas CityLife) and opened for the likes of Chris Isaac, Rick Springfield, the Smithereens, and Austin Texas’ Derailers.

Former front man and founder of the 90′s punk rock band Twisted Nixon, Punish disappeared into the jungles of the America’s early in the 2000′s where he trekked and rediscovered the meaning of life. Johnny Punish

After hub bubbing with high society in the America’s and dredging the bottom looking for survivors, Punish found a happy medium where he could both be an artist and find a way to put food the table.

In addition to music art, Punish is also a syndicated columnist with articles regularly appearing in respected global media such as VeteransToday.com & MunKNEE.com and more.

Flying into the wind, Punish has landed with two feet on the ground armed with new experiences and ready to rock.

Twisted Nixon was formed in the spring of 1996 by Johnny Punish, Ben Madrid, Gary Richter, and Mike Henry – the band quickly evolved into a new line-up including Richy Abboud on drums, Jake “Skoor” Wickstrom on bass guitar. With periodic guest star appearances by the Brookyn NYC Singer Songwriter Brian Jay Cline, Twisted Nixon was off to immortality.
